Drug Formulation

Stiff Silkworm (roasted) 4 liang, Fangfeng 4 liang, Pollen 4 liang, Gou Teng 4 liang, Tianma 4 liang, Zhu Huang 4 liang, Xuan Shen (stem removed) 4 liang,Scutellaria baicalensis 4 liang, Gardenia (roasted) 4 liang, Platycodon grandiflorus 4 liang, Bile Star 1 liang 5 qian, Raw Gypsum 1 liang 5 qian, Notopterygium incisum 1 liang 5 qian, Mentha haplocalyx 1 liang 5 qian, Saponaria officinalis 1 liang, Whole Scorpion 5 qian, Glycyrrhiza uralensis 4 liang (grind all the above herbs into a fine powder; for every 51 liang 5 qian of this fine powder), Cinnabar 1 liang,Borneol 1 liang, antelope powder 1 liang, rhinoceros horn powder 5 qian, ox bile 5 qian, pearl (tofu-roasted) 3 qian, musk 3 qian (grind all together into a fine powder).

Processing

Mix the above ingredients thoroughly, then combine with refined honey to form pills weighing 5 fen each. Coat 36 pills with gold leaf and seal them with wax.
