Drug Formulation

1 qian of Dangmen Musk; 1 liang of lampwick ash (fill a green bamboo tube with lampwick, burn until charred, then measure the net weight); 3 jiao of pig’s-tooth soapberry; 3 qian of Naoyang Flower; 1 qian of plum-blossom borneol; 2 qian of Asarum; 6 fen of Western Calamus (produced in the Western Rong region; not from rhinoceros. It is light in texture and fragrant; when placed on the tongue, it tastes bitter at first then sweet, with a cool sensation penetrating to the heart—this is the genuine article).

Instructions for Use

When needed, take a small amount and sniff it.
