How To Make
Rinse the Codonopsis and Astragalus separately, slice them, and place them together in a clay pot. Add water and decoct twice, for 30 minutes each time. Combine the two decoctions and set aside. Place the red dates in a pot, add the Codonopsis and Astragalus decoction along with an appropriate amount of water, and add brown sugar. Simmer until it becomes a thick drink.
