30 grams of kumquats, 20 grams of brown sugar.

How To Make

Thoroughly wash the outer skin of the kumquats, remove the stems, and place them in a clay pot (do not use an iron pot). Add water until the kumquats are submerged. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat and simmer until the kumquat skin and flesh are tender. Add brown sugar; once it has completely dissolved, stir repeatedly until well blended.

Efficacy

Relieves liver stagnation and dispels depression. Suitable for senile neurosis caused by liver qi stagnation, characterized by dizziness, a sensation of fullness and pain in the head, irritability and quick temper, restlessness and insomnia, dry mouth and a bitter taste, a red tongue, and a string-like and rapid pulse.

Usage

Take one dose in the morning and one in the evening.
