Drug Formulation
Fritillaria, Xianhu, Anemarrhena, apricot kernels, and Bupleurum in equal parts; 2 jin of soft-shelled turtle.

Processing
Boil the above herbs together with the soft-shelled turtle. When the turtle is cooked, remove it from the pot; discard the head. Consume the meat along with the broth. Then, dry the herbs in an oven and grind them into a fine powder. Boil the turtle’s shell and bones again to yield one zhan of liquid, mix this with the powder, and form into pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Instructions for Use
Take 30 pills per dose, washed down on an empty stomach with a decoction of Astragalus. Once the condition stabilizes, continue treatment with the Astragalus Deficiency-Nourishing Decoction from the *Bureau Formulary* for tonification and regulation; be sure to use soft-shelled turtles that have died naturally, available from local markets.
