Drug Formulation

5 he of fermented soybeans, 2 liang of licorice (roasted), 2 liang of cinnamon bark, 4 liang of rhubarb, and half a jin of sodium silicate.

Instructions for Use

Coarsely crush the ingredients. Boil in 6 sheng of water until reduced to 2 sheng; strain out the residue. Drink 1 sheng of the decoction—at a temperature suitable for the patient—before meals, twice daily.

Note

Avoid seaweed, Chinese cabbage, raw scallions, and similar foods.
