Drug Formulation

Raw Rehmannia root (sliced) 1 sheng (pounded and squeezed to extract 3 he of juice), Frankincense 2 liang, Pine resin 2 liang, Goat kidney fat 5 he (simmered), Black sesame oil 2 sheng, Apricot kernels 2 liang, Beeswax 2 liang, Rock salt 1 liang (ground to a powder).

Processing

First, melt the wax over low heat; next, add the sheep kidney fat and melt it. Then add the black sesame oil, followed by the pine resin, melting it as well. Next, add the apricot kernels, then the Xunlu, followed by the Rehmannia juice, and finally the rock salt. Simmer over low heat until all moisture from the Rehmannia juice has evaporated, then strain through cotton and allow to solidify.

Instructions for Use

Apply this ointment to all types of wounds immediately after injury, three times a day and twice a night.

Note

Avoid raw and cold foods, pork, chicken, and fish.
