Processing
For the above formula, grind the first four ingredients into an extremely fine powder and mix thoroughly; add the remaining three ingredients one by one, grinding until the mixture is uniformly fine. Store in a porcelain jar, ensuring no air escapes, and divide into small bottles as needed, sealing the openings with beeswax.

Instructions for Use
For abdominal pain caused by summer heat, or a stuffy nose, headache, and abdominal pain caused by cold, use a small amount of the cinnabar to sniff 1–2 times; once more than ten sneezes occur, the condition will be cured;If the condition is severe and sniffing does not induce sneezing, apply it to the inner corners of both eyes, or dissolve 1 fen in warm water and drink it. For heatstroke, excessive heat causing blocked orifices, or exposure to cold resulting in cold hands and feet, stagnation of qi and blood, and silent sleep without speech, apply it to the inner corners of both eyes twice and take 2 fen dissolved in Yin-Yang water;During an epidemic, apply the vermilion to the inner corners of both eyes three times, cover with a blanket, and rest briefly; the condition will resolve on its own as you sweat. For sores on the fingers, take one egg, pierce a small hole in it, mix the yolk and white thoroughly, add 5 li of vermilion, mix again, and apply 1–2 of these mixtures to the affected fingers; the condition will resolve. For newly arising, unexplained swellings or abscesses, apply a mixture of genuine rice vinegar to the affected area. For conjunctivitis, apply the vermilion to the corners of the eyes.
Note
Pregnant women should avoid oral administration, but it is safe to apply it to the nostrils or the corners of the eyes.
