Drug Formulation

3 qian of Codonopsis, 4 qian of raw Hangzhou peony root, 4 qian of Dendrobium officinale, 4 qian of mulberry leaves, 3 qian of bamboo shavings, 9 qian of roasted Sanxian, 8 fen of Guangxi frankincense (ground), 2 qian of fried Trifoliate orange peel, 1 qian 5 fen of tangerine peel, 1 qian of raw licorice, and 2 qian of raw Atractylodes.

Processing

Boil all ingredients in water until thoroughly infused, strain out the residue, then boil down to a concentrated decoction, and mix with refined honey to form a paste.
