Drug Formulation
Lightly processed Evodia fruit 1.5 qian (reduce by 0.5 fen for those without abdominal pain but with excessive internal heat; increase by 0.5 fen for those with cold constitution and abdominal pain), whole Angelica sinensis 2–3 qian, genuine Chuanxiong 1.5 qian,Hangzhou White Peony Root 2 qian (wine-fried), tender Cinnamomum twig (for those with chronically cold hands and feet accompanied by numbness, use Cinnamomum tips; otherwise, use the pith of the Cinnamomum twig; use 1 qian for those with excessive internal heat, 1.5 qian for those with deficient internal heat, and 2 qian during the winter months), Genuine Donkey-hide Gelatin 2 qian (simmered separately in water and wine, then added to the decoction),standard Pinellia 2 qian (for those with cold constitution and excessive phlegm, add 5 fen or 1 qian; for those with scant phlegm and chronic dry mouth, reduce by 1 qian and add 1.5 qian of light-processed Scutellaria), Taiwan Dangshen 1.5 qian (for those with insufficient body fluids, chronic dry and bitter mouth, or a constitutionally excessive fire, substitute with 2 qian of pure American ginseng), powdered Moutan bark 1.5 qian (use 2 qian for blood heat),Selected Lonicera (Cun Dong) 4 qian (for those with chronic dry mouth and red lips and tongue, use 5 qian and add 2 qian of raw Rehmannia); Fried Licorice 1.5 qian (omit for those with chest and abdominal distension; add 1.5 fen of Four-Processed Cyperus); Fresh Ginger (thinly sliced) 1.5 qian (for those with a cold constitution, excessive phlegm, and a tendency to vomit, use 2 qian; reduce slightly during the summer months).

Instructions for Use
Decoct in water; begin taking it at the onset of menstruation, taking one dose daily, 3–4 doses per month. Continue for 2–3 months, and menstruation will become regular and of normal color; conception is certain within a few months.
