Qi-Regulating and Spirit-Nourishing Decoction

Qi-Regulating and Spirit-Nourishing Decoction,This formula is for individuals who, due to excessive worry, have damaged their mental clarity; or, as a result of such worry, have developed latent internal heat. The blood of the heart and liver is increasingly depleted, causing heart fire and liver qi to surge upward toward the head, disrupting the nervous system. This leads to a loss of normal nervous function, resulting in confused perception—where right is taken for wrong and wrong for right—without, however, progressing to extreme madness.
