Drug Formulation

100 jin of frost-damaged eggplant seedlings, 3,900 g of white sugar, 20 jin of winter ling grass, 1.3 kg of starch, 1.3 kg of white dextrin, and an appropriate amount of pineapple-flavored syrup.

Processing

Place the frost-damaged eggplant seedlings and Winter Ling Grass in a bag, then place it in a steamer, add water, and soak for 30 minutes. Boil for 1 hour; repeat this process three times. Allow the resulting thick paste to cool, then add twice the volume of 95% ethanol. Stir and let stand in a cool, shaded place for 48 hours. Collect the supernatant to recover the ethanol. Add twice the volume of water, let stand for another 48 hours, then collect the supernatant. Concentrate to a paste weighing 1.3 kg.Add the aforementioned excipients and flavorings to the dry paste and mix thoroughly; then add an appropriate amount of 60% ethanol to form a soft mass. Pass through a 12-mesh sieve to produce granules, which are then dried in an oven at 80–90°C. After sorting the granules, spray them with a small amount of flavoring to produce uniform brownish-yellow granules. Divide into 200 bags, seal them, with each bag weighing 35 g.

Instructions for Use

Take half a bag twice daily; a 10-day course constitutes one treatment cycle.
