Drug Formulation

2.5 liang of cardamom (roasted), 2.5 liang of cloves (roasted), 2.5 liang of dried ginger (roasted), 1 liang of licorice (toasted), 1 liang of tangerine peel, 1 liang of chebulic myrobalan (pitted), and 3 liang of rice husks (stems removed, soaked in honey and stir-fried).

Instructions for Use

Coarsely crush the ingredients. For each dose, take 2.5 qian; add 1 zhan of water, 1 grain of frankincense, and 100 grains of millet. Decoct together until reduced to 7 fen, strain, and take warm before meals; for cholera with vomiting and diarrhea, take it cold.
