Drug Formulation

2 liang of sulfur (ground separately), 4 liang of Evodia fruit (soaked in boiling water 7 times, then roasted). Take the above two ingredients and a 4-chi section of wild boar large intestine (remove the fatty membrane and wash thoroughly); stuff the two medicinal ingredients inside, then tie both ends with hemp thread;1 bowl of good rice vinegar; simmer in a sand or stone pot over low heat until dry, then grind into a paste), Magnolia Bark 10 liang (peel removed, soaked in ginger juice overnight, then stir-fried until yellow), Aconite Root 2 liang (roasted, peel and pith removed, chopped, then stir-fried again until yellow), Southern Frankincense 2 liang (wrapped in damp paper and roasted until fragrant).
