Ginseng 5 liang, Dried Ginger 6 liang, White Atractylodes 5 liang, Ophiopogon 3 liang (core removed), Aconite 3 liang (roasted), Poria 3 liang, Licorice 5 liang (roasted).

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a powder. When symptoms arise, boil three he of the mixture in clear water; mix one fangcun bi of the powder with the decoction and drink it. If one dose is ineffective, take another. It may also be made into pills for long-term use; mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a paulownia seed.

Avoid seaweed, Chinese cabbage, pork, peaches, plums, sparrow meat, and strong vinegar.
