Drug Formulation

1.5 liang of Poria (white, with black skin removed), 1.5 liang of Ephedra (with roots and nodes removed), 0.3 fen of Astragalus (chopped), 0.3 fen of Isatis (chopped), 0.3 fen of Cinnamon (with coarse bark removed), 1.1 liang of Asarum (with stems and leaves removed), 1.1 liang of Apricot Kernels (soaked in hot water, with skin, tips, and double kernels removed, then stir-fried),Gypsum 2 liang (crushed), Salvia miltiorrhiza half liang, Schisandra 1 liang, Licorice (roasted, coarsely chopped) 1 liang, Fritillaria 1 liang, Aged tangerine peel (white pith removed, dried) 1 liang, Ligusticum 1 liang, Trifoliate orange fruit (roasted with wheat bran) 3 pieces.

Instructions for Use

Wrap 3 qian bi in cloth, add 1.5 zhan of well water, decoct until reduced to 8 fen, strain, and take while warm, twice daily.
