Drug Formulation

Star anise (roasted) 1 liang, Rubus chingii fruit (soaked in wine) 1 liang, Fennel (roasted) 1 liang, Poria cocos (peeled) 1 liang, Achyranthes bidentata (soaked in wine) 1 liang, Magnetite (heated and quenched in wine 7 times) 1 liang,Dragon’s Tooth (calcined) 1 liang, Psoralea (roasted) 1 liang, Aconite (soaked in 1 liang of rock salt ground into 1 zhan of wine until all the wine is absorbed) 1 liang, Schisandra (steamed in wine, ground) 2 liang, Cuscuta (washed, steamed in wine, ground) 2 liang, Deer Antler (dehaired) 2.5 liang,Cistanche (soaked in wine overnight) 2 liang and a half, Plantain Seed half a liang (roasted through paper), Musk half a qian (ground separately), Stalactite Powder 1 liang and a half, Sichuan Aconite (roasted) 1 liang and a half, Aconite Root (roasted, with skin and pith removed) 1 liang and a half, Cinnamon Bark (with bark removed) 1 liang and a half, Morinda Root (with core removed) 1 liang and a half.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder; mix with deer antler gelatin boiled in wine to form pills the size of a tung tree seed.
