1 qian 5 fen of Arctium lappa seeds (roasted and ground), 1 qian of Peucedanum praeruptorum, 1 qian of Forsythia suspensa (roasted), 8 fen of Gardenia jasminoides (roasted until black), 2 qian of Trichosanthes kirilowii root, 2 qian of Scrophularia ningpoensis, 1 qian of Platycodon grandiflorus, 6 fen of Glycyrrhiza uralensis, and 8 fen of Mentha haplocalyx (the original formula included Lonicera japonica).
