Drug Formulation

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a coarse powder. Place the mixture in a raw silk bag and seal it inside a jar with 3–5 dou of high-quality, ash-free liquor. Allow it to steep in the liquor. In spring and summer, steep for 14 days; in autumn and winter, steep for 21 days. When opening the jar, do not face the jar’s opening; then extract the medicated liquor.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 zhan per dose, warm, three times daily. For long-standing conditions, treatment will not exceed one month; for more recent onset, only 3–5 doses are needed. Dry the medicinal residue in the shade, grind it into a powder, and mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a paulownia seed. Take 30–40 pills per dose, washed down with warm wine.After 3 days of treatment, the patient will be able to comb their own hair; after 7 days, the limbs will gradually relax; after 10 days, they will be able to walk; and after half a month, they will feel light and have clear vision. Regular use darkens the beard and hair, lightens the body, strengthens the bones, refreshes the spirit, and is especially effective when combined with one month of sexual abstinence and rest.
