Drug Formulation

Astragalus 1.5 liang (honey-fried), Angelica sinensis (washed, root base removed, thinly sliced, and dried) 1.5 liang, White Peony Root 3 liang, Cinnamon Twig 1 liang and 1 fen (coarse bark removed, not exposed to fire), Licorice 1 liang (fried).

Grind the above ingredients into a coarse powder.

Instructions for Use

Take 5 qian per dose, add 3 slices of fresh ginger and 1 jujube, boil with 1.5 zhan of water until reduced to 8 fen, strain out the residue, and take 7 fen of the clear decoction three times a day and twice at night. If the pulse at the cun position remains slow, prepare another dose.
