Processing

The above herbs must be of authentic, high-quality origin, and their preparation must strictly follow established methods. Grind them into a fine powder. On a “Tian” or “Yue” auspicious day, mix the powder with honey in a clean room to form pills.

Benefits

Indications: True and pseudo-stroke; phlegm-induced loss of consciousness; left-sided paralysis and right-sided weakness; hemiplegia; facial and ocular deviation; pain in the lower back and legs; numbness in the hands and feet; stiffness of tendons and bones; difficulty walking; as well as acute and chronic convulsions in children, and all manner of life-threatening conditions.

Instructions for Use

Each pill weighs 1 qian; it is coated with gold leaf and wrapped in a wax shell. If the jaw is clenched shut, do not use copper or iron instruments to pry it open, as this may damage the teeth, lips, or tongue, and may also startle the patient. Instead, split 1–2 black plums and insert them into the left and right cheeks; rubbing them will naturally open the jaw.

Note

This pill is extremely potent and aggressive; it is not suitable for children under two years of age, whose tendons and bones are still soft. It should not be taken unless the condition is extremely critical. Pregnant women should avoid taking it.
