Drug Formulation

1 liang of selected licorice, 1 liang of calcined cold-water stone, 1 liang of blackfish bone, 1 liang of white silkworm pupae, half a liang of roasted cardamom, half a liang of white poria, half a liang of Isatis root, a small amount of musk, 1 qian of southern borax, and 1 qian of powdered ivory.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder, sift through a fine sieve twice, and form into pills the size of a chicken’s head using wheat starch paste; coat with cinnabar.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 pill at a time; hold it in the mouth until it dissolves, then swallow the saliva.
