Drug Formulation

Pangolin Scale (roasted with earth) 3 qian, Honeysuckle 3 qian, Rhubarb 3 qian, Angelica Root Tail 1.5 qian, Dried Tangerine Peel 1.5 qian, Pollen 1 qian, Red Peony Root 1 qian, Raw Rehmannia Root 1 qian, Peppermint 1 qian, Fangfeng 1 qian, White Angelica Root 1 qian, Fritillary Bulb 1 qian, Licorice Knots 1 qian, Frankincense 1 qian, Myrrh (purified) 0.5 fen, Horn Thorns 0.5 fen(Add the above three ingredients last. One version of the formula omits rhubarb, raw rehmannia, and mint).

Instructions for Use

Add water to a large earthenware jar, seal it, and decoct; take while warm, and sleep on one’s side. One variation recommends decocting with wine.
