Drug Formulation

6 he of fresh ginger juice, 3 he of beef marrow, 3 he of clarified beef tallow, 1 liang of cinnamon bark (with coarse outer bark removed), 3 liang of Ligusticum wallichii, 3 liang of Angelica pubescens (with root base removed), 3 liang of Saposhnikovia divaricata (with branches removed), and 3 fen of Sichuan pepper (seeds and closed ends removed; stir-fried until perspiring).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a powder, mix thoroughly with the ginger juice, butter, and marrow, and simmer over low heat until it boils 5–7 times. Then add 1 sheng 2 he of wine and continue simmering until the mixture becomes a decoction.

Take 1 spoonful per dose, let it dissolve in the mouth, 3–5 times a day.
