Drug Formulation

2 liang of dried Rehmannia root, 1 liang of Cornus officinalis (pitted, stir-fried with wine), 1 liang of Huai Chinese yam, 7 qian 5 fen of Moutan bark (washed with wine), 7 qian 5 fen of Polygala root (soaked in licorice decoction), 7 qian 5 fen of Alisma (soaked in wine overnight, sun-dried),Acorus tatarinowii (steamed with mulberry twigs) 7 qian 5 fen, Poria (steamed) 7 qian 5 fen, Dragon Bone (calcined, quenched in wine, and washed with water) 5 qian, Turtle Plastron (soaked in wine, roasted) 5 qian.

Instructions for Use

For infants, administer 1 fen during the first month of menstruation, increasing by 1 fen each subsequent month; for one-year-olds, 1 qian 2 fen; for two-year-olds, 1 qian 5 fen; for three-year-olds, 2 qian; and for children five years and older, 3 qian. All doses should be mixed with boiled water and administered alternately with Shenji Dan.
