Drug Formulation

2 liang of Fangfeng (sorted, stem removed), 2 liang of Qin Jiao, 2 liang of Bi Xie, 2 liang of Qianghuo,2 liang of tiger bone (roasted with ghee), 2 liang of Sichuan ox-tail (stem removed), crushed turtle shell, 2 liang of late silkworm sand (roasted until yellow), 5 liang of goji berries, 4 liang of cocklebur (roasted until yellow, crushed), 2 liang of Sichuan aconite (roasted, skin and navel removed), 2 liang of pine knots, and 2 liang of angelica root.

Processing

Finely chop the ingredients, place them in a jar with 1 dou of ash-free liquor, seal the jar tightly, and let it steep for 14 days before opening the jar to retrieve the liquor.

Instructions for Use

Take one zhan of the wine three times daily—morning, noon, and night—ensuring the medicinal effect is maintained without interruption; once the illness is cured, dry the remaining herbs in the sun, grind them into a powder, and form them into pills the size of a Paulownia seed using wine paste. Take 30–50 pills per dose on an empty stomach, washed down with fine wine; occasionally supplement with the “Xiao Xuming Decoction.”
