Juejin Decoction

Juejin Decoction,In women who are physically weak or have accumulated pathogenic factors, where the pathogenic factors become entangled with qi and fail to disperse, or where the Chong and Ren meridians are obstructed and reversed, causing blood stasis in the vessels that prevents circulation—leading to a “ghost fetus”—or where postpartum stagnant blood fails to dissipate and flows into the lower jiao, causing alternating chills and fever.

Formulas Name : Juejin Decoction

Chinese Name : 决津煎

Drug Formulation

3–5 qian or 1 liang of Angelica sinensis, 1.5 qian of Alisma orientale, 2 qian of Achyranthes bidentata, 1–3 qian of Cinnamomum cassia, 2–3 qian or 5–7 qian of Rehmannia glutinosa (may be omitted), and 1 qian of Lindera aggregata (may be omitted for those with qi deficiency).

Instructions for Use

Add 2 zhong of water, decoct until reduced to 7–8 fen, and take before meals.
