Mix the ingredients thoroughly, apply them around the base of the sore, and lay thin slices of beeswax flat within the circle, ensuring no leakage. Smoke it over charcoal until it turns bluish-black; this indicates that the toxic qi has been expelled. Repeat this procedure 3–5 times; once the wax no longer turns bluish-black, the sore will disappear.
