Instructions for Use

Decoct the above herbs with 1 zhong of water and 1 zhong of good wine until reduced to 1 zhong; strain and take slowly while warm. For ruptured sores, apply Xuanwu Ointment.For persistent redness and swelling around the affected area, use the following: Swelling-Resolving Herb, Raw Bai Ji, Bai Lian, Earth Rhubarb, Raw Great Thistle Root, and Wild Ramie Root. Pound them together into a paste, mix in 1 qian of Puxiao, blend thoroughly, and apply the paste to the swollen area, leaving the head uncovered. Concurrent administration of Wax Alum Pills is most effective.
