Drug Formulation

1 qian of indigo powder (ground), half a liang of dried silkworm pupae (with silk removed), 1 liang of sodium carbonate (ground), and 2.5 qian of licorice (raw).

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a powder. Take the gallbladder of a yellow ox from the twelfth lunar month, place the medicine inside, and hang it in the breeze for one hundred days; then add a small amount of ground musk.

Instructions for Use

Take half a qian per dose; it may be taken mixed with liquid or ground into a fine powder and blown into the throat.
