Drug Formulation

3 qian of dragon’s blood, 3 qian of Ligusticum root, 6 qian of fennel, 1 qian of frankincense, 1 qian of myrrh, 2 qian of mercury oxide, 1 liang of orpiment, 1 liang of beeswax, and 4 liang of sesame oil.

Processing

Grind each of the above ingredients separately into a fine powder; melt the oil and wax together, mix thoroughly, and add a small amount of musk and cinnabar.
