Drug Formulation

Blue Alum (ground) half liang, Green Alum (ground) half liang, White Alum (ground) half liang, Horse-tooth Calcium Carbonate (ground) 1 liang, Cinnabar (ground) 1 liang and 1 fen, Fangfeng (stems and leaves removed) 1 liang,2 liang of beeswax, 1 jin of lard, 1 liang of Astragalus (chopped), 1 liang of Asarum (stems and leaves removed), 3 liang of Angelica sinensis (sliced and roasted), 3 liang of sesame oil, and 1 liang of pine resin.

Processing

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. First, simmer the lard until melted, then strain out the residue. Next, add the sesame oil and beeswax, followed by the medicinal ingredients. Continue simmering until the mixture solidifies. Once the ointment is ready, store it in a porcelain container.

Instructions for Use
