Drug Formulation

50 large black soybeans (raw), 4 qian of Renyan, 1 qian of realgar (ground), 1 qian of cinnabar (ground).

Processing

Grind the Renyan into a fine powder; roast it in a sand pot over low heat until it turns purple. Soak the large black soybeans in water to remove the skins, then mash them until they become a paste. Mix the ground realgar and Renyan powders into the soybean paste until well blended, form into 100 pills, and coat them with cinnabar.

Instructions for Use

On the day following the onset of a malaria attack, take 1 pill with cool water. A single dose is sufficient for a cure.

Note

Avoid hot food and drink for the first half of the day after taking the medicine.
