Drug Formulation

2 liang of deer antler (first singe off the hair over a grass fire, chop coarsely, soak in wine for three nights, then roast until yellow), 1 liang of dodder seeds (rinse in clean water, soak in wine for three nights, roast, then grind separately),Poria 1 liang (remove coarse outer skin), Cistanche 1 liang (soak in hot water, scrape off coarse outer skin, soak in wine for three nights, slice, and bake dry), Aster tataricus 1 liang (remove soil, rinse with water, and bake dry), Cnidium monnieri 1 liang (rinse clean, soak in wine for three nights, and bake dry),Astragalus root 1 liang (chopped into small pieces, roasted over low heat until golden brown), Mulberry cuttlefish bone 1 liang (split open, roasted over low heat until golden brown), Yangqishi 1 liang (stir-fried until reddish),1 liang of Shatouji (sorted, lightly stir-fried, and pounded separately), 1 liang of large black Aconite (sorted, roasted over low heat, and with skin and pith removed), and 1 liang of Cinnamomum cassia (with coarse bark removed).
