Chinese Name : 乳香木瓜丸

Drug Formulation

1 Xuan papaya (top cut off, seeds removed), half liang of frankincense (ground separately), half liang of processed mugwort, half liang of fennel (rinsed to remove sand, stir-fried), and 3 qian of rock salt.

Processing

Grind the above four ingredients into a fine powder, fill the papaya with the mixture, and seal the opening securely with bamboo skewers. Wrap the papaya firmly in steamed flatbread dough and steam until cooked. Remove, discard the dough, and pound the contents in a sand mortar until extremely fine. Adjust the moisture to the proper consistency, then use high-quality wine to make a paste and form into pills the size of a tung tree seed.

Take 50 pills each time, washed down with rice water on an empty stomach, twice a day.
