Drug Formulation

10 pieces of Mulberry Cuttlefish (roasted), half a liang of Peony Bark, 1 liang of White Atractylodes (soaked in rice water overnight, chopped, and stir-fried), 1 liang of White Poria (black skin removed), 1 liang of Angelica (sliced and dried), 1 liang of Cinnamon (coarse bark removed), 1 liang of Vitex Fruit (stir-fried),Magnetite (calcined, quenched in vinegar 7 times) 1 liang, Aconite (roasted until cracked, with skin and pith removed) 1 liang, Acorus (soaked in rice water overnight, chopped, and baked) 1 liang, Prepared Rehmannia (baked) 1 liang, Rhubarb (chopped, stir-fried) half a liang, Asarum (with stems and leaves removed) half a liang, Ligusticum 半两.

Instructions for Use

Coarsely crush the ingredients. For each dose, take 3 qian bi. First, boil one pig kidney in 3 zhan of water; strain to obtain 1 zhan of broth. Remove the kidney, add the herbs, and decoct until the volume is reduced to 7 fen. Strain out the residue and take the warm decoction before meals.
