Drug Formulation

1 qian of Dan Tou (1 liang of rabbit-brain calamine—only top-grade, snow-white, and light-weight material is suitable—and 1 liang of fire-essence stone, pounded into a fine powder; mix with water to form a paste, then shape into a cake. If fire-essence stone is unavailable, calcine it with Hun Yuan Qiu, or quench it with the decoction from calcined Wuling Dan.Break the zinc oxide into small pieces, wrap them in the fire-refined stone, then wrap the entire package in yellow clay. Allow it to dry, place it in a hundred-eyes furnace, and calcine until it turns completely red. Remove, let cool, and set aside for later use. Remove the clay, place the zinc oxide in a mortar, and pound it extremely fine. Wash it with water 3–5 times; if any coarse particles remain, wash again. The ideal consistency is one that does not scratch the teeth. Sun-dry to make the Dan Tou),Borneol (must be top-grade, 4–6) 2 fen 5 li, genuine musk 1 fen 5 li, bear bile 3 fen 5 li, Rui seeds 3 fen (with all oil removed).

Instructions for Use

Apply topically 3 times daily; take the “Veil-Lifting Pill” internally, apply the “Cataract-Dispelling Powder” externally, and then use this formula for topical application 70–80 times. In extremely severe cases, results will be evident within half a month.
