For transient heat in the heart, qi stagnation in the bladder region extending to the lower flanks, persistent melancholy and unhappiness, accompanied by palpitations.

Instructions for Use

Slice the roots, roast them until fragrant, store them in a raw silk bag, and steep them in 3 large dou of clear, ash-free wine. In the third month of spring, steep for 1 day before consumption; in winter, after the tenth month, steep for 7 days; it is best to keep the mixture near a warm place. Take 1 zhan on an empty stomach, 3–4 times daily and nightly. Maintain a continuous supply of the wine; stop when the desired effect is achieved.
