Drug Formulation

Round, white Pinellia (steamed in damp paper) 1.5 qian; Southern Frankincense 1.5 qian; Pinellia (briefly dipped in boiling water in the pot) 1.5 qian; Spicy Asarum 1 qian; Atractylodes (raw) 1 qian; Licorice (raw) 1 qian; Houttuynia 1 qian; Acorus 1 qian.

Coarsely chop the ingredients and divide into two doses.

Benefits

For all types of sudden onset conditions: stroke, wind-stroke, cold-induced illness, heatstroke, dampness-induced illness, as well as phlegm-induced syncope, fluid-induced syncope, and qi-induced syncope.

Instructions for Use

For each dose, use one and a half water cups of water, add seven thick slices of fresh ginger, decoct until reduced to half, and while still hot, mix in 3 Suhexiang Pills. First, grind the pulp of the soapberry into a fine powder; use a tube to blow a small amount into the nose. Wait until a sneeze occurs, then administer the medicine. For trismus, mix the pulp of black plum with ground Pinellia and Asarum powder; use the middle finger to rub the area repeatedly until the jaw opens on its own.
