Processing

Wash the herb thoroughly, grind it into a powder, mix with 1 jin of raw honey to form a paste, and store it in a container—avoid contact with iron. Steam and sun-dry the mixture nine times, repeating the process once daily.

For consumptive cough with hemoptysis causing lung damage, as well as uncontrolled bleeding.

Instructions for Use

Take 4 spoons per dose. At the fifth watch, mix the medicine with congee using a spoon, and after a while, wash it down with thin millet porridge. Take the medicine while it is cool; the congee and porridge should not be too hot. Whether it causes vomiting or diarrhea, it does no harm. For chronic lung damage with hemoptysis, a single dose is sufficient for a cure; for ordinary coughs with uncontrolled bleeding, one spoon per dose is adequate.
