1 liang of honeysuckle, 1 liang of Angelica sinensis root, 3 qian of licorice, 5 qian of frankincense (oil removed), 5 qian of gallnut, 5 qian of astragalus, 5 qian of white silkworm pupae, and 5 qian of white angelica.

Processing

Decoct the above ingredients in 6 bowls of water until reduced to half; strain out the residue, then add another 6 bowls of water and decoct until reduced to half. Repeat this process twice, resulting in a total of 6 bowls of decoction. Strain out the residue and use the decoction in place of water to boil 2 jin of red dates until tender.
