Drug Formulation

2 liang of Suhexiang oil, 1 liang of Jin Yin Xiang, 2 liang of Clove, 2 liang of Guangmu Xiang, 2 liang of Gong Chenxiang, 2 liang of raw Xiangfu, 2 liang of rhino horn tip, 2 liang of refined cinnabar, 1 liang of processed frankincense, 2 liang of raw Yu Zhu, 5 qian of plum-processed borneol, and 5 qian of musk.

Processing

Grind the ingredients into a fine powder. Dissolve the Golden-Silver Fragrance in wine to form a paste, mix with the Suhexiang oil, and add refined white honey to form pills. Each pill should weigh 5 fen when moist; seal with a wax shell.

Instructions for Use

Take 1 pill per dose; reduce the dose appropriately for children. For stroke-induced coma, dissolve the pill in peppermint decoction; for cholera with vomiting and diarrhea, dissolve it in light ginger decoction; for febrile convulsions and spasms, dissolve it in Gou Teng and Lampwick Decoction, or dissolve it in boiling water. During an epidemic, place the pills in a silk pouch and wear it around the chest to ward off pathogenic toxins.
