Drug Formulation

Raw gold 2 zhu (if raw gold is unavailable, refined gold may be used; according to the method, it should be in the form of shavings, but this formula uses a finished ingot), ox bile 3 zhu, dried ginger 1 fen, Asarum 0.5 fen, ginseng 1 fen, ephedra 2 fen, Coptis 1 fen, licorice 1 fen.

Instructions for Use

Coarsely crush the ingredients. Boil in 1 sheng and 6 he of water until reduced to 8 he; strain out the residue. Just before taking, grind the ox bile into a fine powder and stir it into the decoction.
