Instructions for Use

Select fresh seeds, clean them, wash with water, and sun-dry. Steam the hemp seeds until cooked, then sun-dry them again and store in a clean container. To prepare the decoction, take 5 sheng of hemp seeds and roast them over low heat until they turn a golden yellow and emit a fragrant aroma—be careful not to let them burn. Grind them into a fine powder. Boil the powder in 5 sheng of water until all the liquid has evaporated, then pour the residue into a clean container. Drink this the following morning. That same night, rinse 1 sheng of adzuki beans, soak them in water until dawn, strain off the water, and boil the beans in fresh water until they are half-cooked. Drain and let them dry, then add them to the hemp seed decoction and simmer until thoroughly softened.Consume as much as desired on an empty stomach. After 3 days, the abdomen should shrink slightly, and any chest tightness will subside after a short while. After 5 days, frequent or reddish urination, along with sticky saliva and a dry mouth, are to be expected. After taking the remedy, walk gently; do not lie down immediately. After 10 days, receive acupuncture at the Zusanli and Juegu points. If the qi has not been fully expelled, repeat the treatment.
