1 large male rat (must be captured alive; do not use those killed by cats or poison; remove one pair of external testicles and one pair of kidneys; discard the remaining bones and flesh), high-quality frankincense as needed (roast until it releases a sweat, then grind into a fine powder).

Processing

Take the four mouse kidneys and testicles, remove the membranes, and grind them into a paste. Add the frankincense powder and grind until uniform. Form into pills the size of a paulownia seed, coat the exterior with fine cinnabar powder, and air-dry in the shade.
