Drug Formulation

3 fen of Cassia (with coarse bark removed), 3 fen of Ephedra (with roots and nodes removed), 1 liang of Aconite (processed, with skin and pith removed), and 1 fen of Dried Ginger (processed).

Processing

Coarsely crush the ingredients until they are about the size of sesame or mung beans.

Instructions for Use

Take 5 qian per dose, add 1.5 zhan of water, add half a fen of fresh ginger (sliced) and 3 jujubes (crushed), decoct together until reduced to 8 fen, strain, and take while warm, regardless of the time of day.
