Processing

Use 1 jin of high-quality sesame oil. Simmer the 10 herbal ingredients until they are completely charred and the oil turns purplish-red. Strain out the residue, then add the ground amber powder and 2 liang of beeswax. Remove from heat once melted, stir thoroughly with a locust branch, and allow to cool and set into a paste—do not let it harden too much. Bury the paste in the ground to remove its fiery toxicity, and retrieve it after one month.

Benefits

Effective for all types of ringworm, scabies, and tubercles; for boils and abscesses in the early stages that have already ruptured; and for bleeding or gangrenous knife wounds.

Instructions for Use

When using, mix in a small amount of yellow Sanxian Dan until well blended, then apply as needed. Adjust the amount according to the severity of the condition: use less for mild cases and slightly more for severe ones, but do not use too much. For wounds caused by metal blades, there is no need to add Sanxian Dan. This ointment becomes more effective the longer it is aged.
