Processing

Take the above 46 medicinal ingredients and add 20 pills of wine yeast. Grind them all into a fine powder. Take 1 dou of Huai wheat, cook it until tender, mash it thoroughly, mix it evenly with the medicinal powder, and shape it into a cake. Separately, take 2 jin of white dried wheat flour, soak it in boiling water to form a dough, and set it aside to retain its natural properties.After 5–6 days, dissolve the dough cakes in hot water to form a slurry. Place everything in a stone mortar and pound until smooth, then shape into small pieces weighing no more than one liang each, and sun-dry them.

Instructions for Use

For adults, take 3 qian per dose, decocted in 1 soup bowl of water until reduced to 7 fen. For children, reduce the dose by half, or take 1 qian, decocted in 1 large tea cup of water until reduced to 7 fen. Break each qian into 5–6 pieces.
