Drug Formulation

Roast 4 liang of Cyperus rotundus, 3 liang of Western Notopterygium, 3 liang of Sichuan Angelica, 3 liang of Cinnamomum cassia (with dry bark removed), 3 liang of raw Pinellia, 3 liang of Northern Asarum, 4 liang of powdered licorice, 2 liang of Sichuan Aconite, 2 liang of wild Aconite, 2 liang of Galanga, 1 liang of clove buds, and 5 liang of Acorus tatarinowii.

Grind each ingredient into a very fine, clean powder and mix thoroughly.

Instructions for Use

To use, take ash-free liquor, add 3–5 scallions (with roots intact), bring to a boil, mix in the medicine, apply the hot mixture to the affected area, wrap with silk, and change the dressing once a day.
