Processing

For the young shoots of yellow privet, harvest them in early spring, steam and sun-dry them nine times each, and obtain half a jin;Use one pure-black black chicken; feed it rice for 5 days, then place it on a clean wooden board and feed it hemp seeds for another 1–2 days. Collect the feces immediately, dry them in the sun, and place half a jin in a clean porcelain jar. Roast the feces until they turn a fragrant golden yellow, then mix them with the young Huangjing shoots, pound into a fine powder, and mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a Paulownia seed.

Take 15 pills per dose, washed down with water mixed with aged rice; gradually increase to 20 pills, twice daily.
